Hello Lovlie. I'm Jordan Nicole :) We are now in the month of September and that means that we have officially entered my favorite season, Autumn. I fluctuate between referring to it as fall and autumn depending on how fancy I want to feel but whatever you call it, I hold it very dear to my heart. Something about when the pumpkins start coming out and the leaves start to change colors (not that I've seen this aside from pictures as Texas hates me and my love for fall) speaks to my soul. It feels like going home.

I am not sure if this is a normal feeling that people have in regard to what season it is (be sure to let me know in the comments if you feel this passionately about any of the four seasons) but in the last few years I have just grown to adore this time of year. I long for it to get here the day after it is gone. It feels like a time of new beginnings to me, as if anything I can dream, can be. I have scents, flavors, songs and places that create fall all around me and when I surround myself with these things I feel an instant comfort. I'm in my element and so happy about all the things to come.

I didn't really have anything specific in mind for this post, I have just been so overjoyed by the arrival of fall and I needed somewhere to rant about it :) Are you as excited about the season change? August Favorites 

Hello Lovelies. I'm Jordan Nicole :) I am going to start this post by simply stating that I have gotten very behind on not only my blog but this post especially. We are not seven days into the month of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and I am just not getting around to doing my August favorites. With all of the things happening in my life I have felt a bit overwhelmed and this has caused my ideas for my blog to feel a bit smothered. I am desperate to jump back into things as this has been an amazon outlet for me and I really enjoy it. I am going to keep things very minimal this month on the favorites front but I am determined not to miss a month so I hope that you enjoy it all the same! 

Fashion

Black Floral Dress 

When my mother offered me the $100 gift card to Target that she had gotten from work I walked into the store with every intention of buying things with it that I would not have purchased for myself. As always that did not happen because the second I got into the clothing section I spotted this dress and knew that it would be in my closet later that day. The only justification I have for this dress (because I have about twenty dresses that have a floral pattern) is that it is black and I don't own much black. Regardless, I love it and have worn it a ton since I bought it.

Mustard Cardigan 

This was one of the items I purchased with that same gift card that was something I really needed in my wardrobe but never would have purchased for myself. I have gotten a ton of use out of it since I bought it and I am so excited to wear it more as we get further into autumn (it is my favorite season and I have already pulled out all of my fall scents).

Beauty

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 14

I have been searching for a "my lips but better" lipstick for a long time now and when I picked this up on that same Target trip I was overjoyed. I put it on in the car right after we walked out and confirmed that it was indeed the perfect color for my lips. It is now my go-to color for every day :) The formulation is wonderful, it keeps your lips moisturized and the color lasts. 

Food

Twinning's English Breakfast Tea

I have always wanted to be a tea drinker, which has been difficult because I do not like tea in the slightest. I have tried time and time again to make myself enjoy it, taking tips from friends who drink it, but it had never worked. The things that finally turned it around was when I watched multiple Youtube videos on the British tag. One of the questions was "Do you use cream and sugars?" and I suddenly had the realization that people make tea in the same way that I make coffee. Since that day I have been drinking english breakfast tea with cream and a sugar.

Tyler Oakley's Auguest

I have many favorite Youtubers and Tyler Oakley is definitely one of them. When he announced that he would be bringing back his month of collaborations again this year I was ecstatic. I love collab videos and no one does them better than Tyler. If you haven't watched the entire months worth of videos then I highly suggest you go and check them out. Tyler's laugh is the best sound you will ever hear and there are tons of them during Auguest :) Some of my favorites from this year were his videos with Zoella (Zoe Sugg), Connor Franta, Miranda Sings & Jenna Marbles. 

This was a very short and very late favorites but I am going to be on top of next month! I've missed this my blog and am going to give it the love it deserves :) As always let me know what your monthly favorites were in the comments below!
