My Style Icons Series: Taylor Swift

Hello Lovlies. I'm Jordan Nicole :) For my sixth and final style icon I decided to choose the person who I feel most directly influences my fashion, make-up and hair decisions. She is iconic in more ways then one and always as poised as I dream of being; Taylor Swift. It's probably obvious from previous posts but I am a fan, so it isn't a surprise that she is on this list. You may not be a fan but even people who don't like her music have to admit that her fashion is always on point. Even when she is being photographed by paparazzi on the streets of NY she looks perfectly put together. I have been a fan of her fashion since the beginning when the majority of her outfits consisted of sundresses, boots and sparkles. Though her style has evolved over the years I have always adored it and taken influences from it.

After Speak Now was winding down and Red was getting closer to being released Taylor's fashion took a turn for the vintage. This was so exciting for me because I have always loved vintage things. It was nice to see someone put it in the mainstream so that other young people could have the opportunity to fall in love with it too. I have never been one to pick what I am wearing based on what is "in" but it is nice to have things I have been wearing for years be more available in stores because it is more popular now. Here are some pretty pictures of that vintage style.

Red Lipstick, Oxfords, Button Ups, High Waisted Shorts, Vintage Dresses, Hats, Bangs, Cat Eye Sunglasses, Sparkles, Color Blocking, Belts, Cardigans, Gold, Boots, High Necklines, Curls, Headbands, Blazers, Gowns, Coats, Old Fashioned Bikini, Stripes, Florals, Crop Tops, Nude Heels, Scarves, Keds.

That's it, the end of my style icons series. It has been so fun doing these and I hope to start a few other series :) I think Taylor was the perfect note to end on because I pull most of my fashion influences from her. I think she, along with all of the other beautiful ladies in this series, is full of grace, poise and elegance. At the end of the day my style is about what I think is cute to wear, regardless of others opinions. I don't try and directly emulate anyone because I want to be my own person. I do of course take pieces of these women's style that I love and try and bring it into my own style, in my own way :) I hope that you have enjoyed this series and as always let me know who your style icons are in the comments!
